Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also deliver exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining security-related procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary according to protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
