As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will interact with employees and visitors, manage access points, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of personnel and visitors according to site-specific procedures.
Assist with visitor and contractor management, including logging entries and exits and issuing badges as required.
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to inquiries and providing directions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential hazards.
Document and report any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and site management.
Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and coordinating with first responders as needed.
