You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and interact with the public while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment and protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
Monitor and report on security-related conditions, hazards, and/or unusual activity within the government location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and the site.
Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while upholding the standards and expectations of Allied Universal.
Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel on site as needed, following established protocols.
