As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. You will conduct routine rounds, document security-related activity, communicate clearly with onsite contacts, and respond to concerns with professionalism and integrity. This post requires an armed guard card or license.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor check-in, and/or enforcing authorized access procedures.
• Complete incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and maintain required armed post qualifications and equipment readiness in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
