As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols at a food and beverage distribution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with employees and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, which may include areas such as warehouses, loading docks, and storage facilities associated with food and beverage operations.
Monitor for unusual activity and/or unauthorized individuals on the premises to help to deter potential security-related risks.
Document observations and/or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors at the location, providing assistance as needed while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
Follow all company and client policies regarding the handling and carrying of firearms while on duty.
