As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols at a financial institution location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering excellent customer service. This is an armed and driving position, where you will respond to situations as needed and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior within the location.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
