As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with staff and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the chemical and petrochemical facility and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior within the location.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders when required, maintaining clear communication during incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats to people, property, and materials within the location.
Follow all site-specific guidelines for handling hazardous materials and respond appropriately to chemical-related emergencies.
