Job Description As a Security Guard - Financial Site Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within financial institution locations. You will play a key role in upholding a welcoming atmosphere, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with access control. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to address security-related concerns and provide support as needed.
