About The Position

As a Dispatch Officer in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing support to operations. This is an armed and driving post, where you will respond to situations, maintain clear communication, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity at the location.
  • Receive, document, and dispatch calls for service, coordinating with on-site personnel and responding units as needed.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all incoming calls, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors, providing customer service and assistance as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, directing personnel and coordinating communications during incidents.
  • Conduct regular checks of security-related systems and technology to help to deter issues and report any malfunctions or concerns to the appropriate parties.
