About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Panel Monitor in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain order. This is an armed and driving position, where you will conduct routine patrols, provide responsive communication, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • A minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch personnel and coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, activities, and observations according to established protocols.
  • Assist in access control by verifying identification, credentials, and/or visitor authorization at the location.
  • Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and on-site personnel regarding incidents and requests for assistance.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining awareness of site operations and monitoring surveillance systems as required.
  • Support emergency response activities, including contacting appropriate authorities and providing accurate information as needed.
