As a Screener in a logistics and distribution environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and remaining highly visible throughout the location. You will also engage with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Supervisory experience required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Screen individuals and/or packages entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized movement within the facility.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to the logistics and distribution environment.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to report and document incidents and/or suspicious activities.
Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the logistics and distribution location.
