As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with visitors and team members, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being at least 21 years of age is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents according to company and client protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure and orderly environment at the logistics and distribution location.
