As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents while monitoring and patrolling the logistics and distribution location. In this primarily driving post, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through professional and courteous interactions. This position requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or access.
Observe and report on any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents within the location.
Assist visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with directions, access, and security-related information as needed.
Communicate and cooperate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Document and report all incidents, irregularities, and security-related concerns according to site and Allied Universal protocols.
