Job Description As a Security Guard - Distribution Site - Weekdays in Jeffersonville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a security-related presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols or while on post.
Work closely with site personnel and visitors to address questions, provide guidance, and support site operations as needed.
Document and communicate any security-related concerns, incidents, or hazards to Allied Universal management and site leadership according to established protocols.
Adapt to varying working environments and conditions typical of logistics and distribution locations.

A valid driver’s license from the job state is required and must meet with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
