As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Conduct screening of personnel, packages, and/or vehicles entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with inquiries and directions while upholding security-related procedures.
Follow site-specific policies and procedures during routine operations and emergency response situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate per protocol.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related issues and monitor for unusual activity.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to communicate important information related to security-related operations.
