About The Position

As a Security Guard - Distribution Patrol Driver in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe activities within the facility to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
Collaborate with site staff and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related matters and emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.
