Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

X‐Ray screening experience is preferred.
Loss prevention is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support ongoing operations.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Screen individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the location in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor access control systems and verify credentials to support authorized entry and exit.
Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and provide a visible presence.
