Job Description As a Security Guard - Distribution Entry Point in Lenexa, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
- Assist in implementing site-specific security-related procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed during emergency response activities.
- Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and promote a secure environment.
