As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting as per site-specific policies.
Assist with visitor and contractor management, maintaining accurate logs of entries and exits.
Provide customer service by responding to inquiries and offering directions or assistance to personnel and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual behavior, to the appropriate personnel.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
Collaborate with site staff to address security-related needs and maintain a secure environment for all personnel and assets.
