As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized access.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities, screenings, and incidents as required by site protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and staff to uphold site security-related standards.
