As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a leading logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to assist in maintaining a secure atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while working closely with visitors and staff. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials and/or identification of individuals entering and exiting the premises in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by communicating security-related procedures and guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual activity and/or conditions.
Document and report incidents, observations, and security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Support emergency response efforts when appropriate and follow site-specific emergency protocols.
