As a Security Guard - CRE Site Patrol in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you will monitor and conduct regular patrols throughout a prominent commercial real estate location. Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Willingness to work at limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity at the location to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control and visitor management as required by site-specific protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to occupants and visitors at the commercial real estate location.
