About The Position

As a Security Guard - Bank Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. You will interact with people on site, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Supervisory experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter areas within the financial institution location.
Observe and report any unusual activity and/or incidents during patrols to help to deter potential risks.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for access control and monitoring of entrances and exits.
Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client procedures.
