As an Allied Universal Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage access control by checking credentials, issuing and/or verifying badges, and guiding visitors and drivers through entry procedures. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, document security-related activity, and communicate clearly with site teams to help support loss prevention goals. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing traffic flow at entrances and docks.
- Control entry and exit for employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery drivers, including maintaining visitor logs, issuing temporary badges as authorized, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard areas, trailer lots, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems when assigned, document security-related activities and incidents, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
