Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by communicating site-specific procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and enforce site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related matters at the location.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a secure environment for all occupants.
