As a Security Guard - Auto Patrol Team in Fremont, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive environment, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with visitors and employees, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe for any unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior within the auto industry environment.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, hazards, or other security-related matters.
Complete detailed and accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Support the enforcement of site-specific rules and regulations to help to maintain order within the location.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while patrolling on foot and/or by vehicle as required by the post assignment.
