As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed position requires you to provide professional, security-related services while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or armed guard license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist staff, patients, and visitors with security-related concerns and provide guidance as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and promote a secure atmosphere throughout the healthcare location.
