As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible within a retail location to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will engage with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activities.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and help to deter disruptive behavior within the retail environment.
