As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular vehicle patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence throughout the premises. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
Observe for unusual or suspicious activities and report findings according to site protocols.
Collaborate with local emergency services and Allied Universal management as needed during incidents at the location.
Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and security-related activities.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to situations that may arise in a transportation environment.
