As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at retail locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming environment. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Maintain a visible presence and assist customers, employees, and visitors as needed.
Observe for signs of suspicious or unusual activity and report findings according to Allied Universal procedures.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding carrying and use of firearms as an armed post.
Complete required documentation and incident reports as necessary.
Collaborate with retail management and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or concerns.
