About The Position

As a Security Guard - Financial Institution Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when necessary.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by providing guidance and assistance according to site procedures.
