As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible within a retail environment to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to various situations as needed. Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification if required in Texas.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any security-related concerns at the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
Monitor for any unusual activity or potential threats, and report findings according to company and client protocols.
Work closely with client staff and the public to address inquiries and provide assistance as appropriate.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate promptly with Allied Universal management regarding any security-related issues.
Follow all post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and client representatives, adapting to changing conditions within the retail environment.
