As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Specialist in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Interact with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public in a courteous manner while upholding security-related standards.
Enforce site-specific rules and regulations as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies at the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal policies.
