As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that can help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with calm communication, document activity, and deliver customer-focused support for employees and visitors. This role requires an Armed Guard Card and/or License, backed by a culture that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of the facility, lobbies, office areas, ATM and cash handling areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptive behavior.
  • Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor and delivery activity, and coordinating with on-site personnel regarding access approvals and security-related concerns.
  • Complete written and/or electronic reports, document unusual activity, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.
