Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Government Facility in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer where you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carry out armed security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or members of the public as needed, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for government locations.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
Complete detailed reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities as directed.
Maintain awareness of site-specific procedures and protocols, adapting to the unique requirements of a government location.
