Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related threats within the government facility.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and location staff to support a secure environment.
