Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver - Residential in Saint Petersburg, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role requires both driving and armed responsibilities. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disturbances.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the residential location to help to deter unwanted behavior and/or trespassing.
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents and/or emergencies.
- Remain alert to potential security-related risks and hazards within the residential environment and promptly report observations to management.
