As a Security Guard - Armed Medical Facility in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a healthcare location to help create a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Have customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or disturbances.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Collaborate with facility staff and first responders during emergencies and/or incidents to support resolution and maintain order.
Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Remain alert to potential hazards and/or unusual situations, and promptly report observations to the appropriate personnel.
