As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle, as you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive experience for employees and visitors.
Remain alert to conditions that may create security-related risks and report findings according to site procedures.
Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and/or other security-related equipment in accordance with company and site-specific guidelines.
