As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will remain visible throughout your shift, respond to incidents as needed, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
X-ray screening experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies at the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual situations.
Collaborate with medical staff, visitors, and patients to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Complete detailed incident reports and document observations and actions taken during patrols and incident responses.
Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain an orderly environment within the healthcare location.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks and communicate any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
