As a Security Guard - Armed Government Site Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your presence will provide reassurance to the public, and you will interact with individuals in a professional and approachable manner. You will conduct routine patrols and respond to incidents as needed, while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid firearms permit.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
Complete detailed written reports on all incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
