About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol in Tillery, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
At least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company and client policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.
