As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Weekdays in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This role requires you to remain highly visible, respond promptly to situations, and foster a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access or breaches.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities and/or management.
Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents at the location.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed posts in a government environment.
