About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Government Patrol Driver in Hoffman, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or breaches.
Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and assisting visitors as required.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols.
Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings to help to deter potential security-related threats or suspicious activities.
Operate and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
