Job Description As a Security Guard - Armed Government Campus Patrol in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location, including both the premises and its perimeter.
Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the property.
Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity through visible presence and professional conduct.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency response teams as required by site protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.
Follow all company and site-specific policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
Participate in ongoing training and briefings to remain current with site procedures and security-related practices.
