About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Financial Patrol in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service. This armed role lets you be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity, all while delivering innovative solutions in a people-first environment.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols within the financial institution and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns or incidents according to established protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials of visitors and employees as required.
Work closely with site management and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols.
Support Allied Universal in upholding a secure environment for clients and visitors at the location.
