As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining strong communication. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and sound judgment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any suspicious behavior.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
Document and communicate observations, incidents, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical incidents.
Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and state regulations.
