Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an advanced aerospace and defense location. Your visible presence helps to deter security-related incidents and supports a secure environment for personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, deliver outstanding customer service, and uphold our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation in a dynamic, mission-critical setting.

Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and experience to address the situation.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any irregularities.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors within the location.
  • Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized personnel are permitted entry to restricted areas.
  • Document and report all incidents, activities, and observations according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed during critical situations.
  • Adhere to all site-specific and Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements while performing armed patrol duties.
