About The Position

As a Security Guard - Armed Campus Patrol in Eden, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at this education location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and observe activity in and around the location, reporting any suspicious behavior or potential security-related concerns.
Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols for incidents specific to educational settings.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Collaborate with other staff, law enforcement, and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or drills.
