As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. You will interact with employees, visitors, and clients, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Requirements

Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points, helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as required by site protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during critical events.
Handle access control responsibilities, verifying identification and permission for entry when necessary.
Remain alert to potential security-related risks or suspicious behavior, taking appropriate action in line with site policies.
Carry and maintain authorized weapons in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines, adhering to all applicable laws and protocols.
